A district and sessions court in Islamabad has cancelled the arrest warrants issued against lawyer and human rights activist Imaan Mazari and her husband, Hadi Ali Chatha, in a case linked to a controversial tweet.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka presided over the hearing, during which both Mazari and Chatha appeared before the court. The judge subsequently annulled the warrants and adjourned the proceedings until September 29.
