CE TDAP to Inaugurate 41st Carpet Expo

LAHORE: Reporter Muhammad ShahzadChief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Faiz Ahmad Chadhar, will inaugurate the 41st International Handmade Carpet Exhibition on October 7 in Lahore.

The three-day event, scheduled to run from October 7 to 9 at a local hotel, will feature participation from nearly 100 companies representing more than 40 countries.

Chairman of the International Exhibition, Riaz Ahmad, said the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) has prepared a comprehensive hospitality package for foreign buyers, aimed at projecting a positive image of Pakistan. He expressed gratitude to the TDAP leadership for its support, which he said ensures the event’s success.

Riaz Ahmad added that the exhibition is expected to create new opportunities for growth in the handmade carpet industry. He noted that a clear strategy has been developed to foster long-term partnerships with international buyers, while manufacturers will present premium-quality carpets with innovative designs.

He expressed optimism that the exhibition will lead to significant export deals, strengthening Pakistan’s handmade carpet sector on the global stage.
