MELBOURNE, Australia — World No. 1s Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka booked their spots in the fourth round of the Australian Open on Friday afternoon, as did Daniil Medvedev, who stormed from two sets and a break of serve down to advance to the round of 16.
