HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – University of Hawaii football fans across the state will be able to watch Rainbow Warriors home games live on television without pay-per-view fees or delays for the first time in decades.
UH Manoa leaders announced Monday that six home games in the 2025 season, plus the Oct. 18 away game at Colorado State, are scheduled to air statewide on Spectrum Sports.
Spectrum TV and Hawaiian Telcom customers will pay no extra cost, said UH officials.
The broadcasts are part of the university’s one-year extension with Spectrum.
“We’re thrilled to make Rainbow Warrior football more accessible than it has been in decades,” said UH athletics director Matt Elliott. “No tape delays. No pay-per-view. No added fees for anyone already watching UH sports at home.
UH president Wendy Hensel called the move a reflection of the university’s values and its connection to the people of Hawaii.
“We want every fan, from every island and every community, to feel a connection to UH and our student-athletes,” Hensel said.
Games are set to air on:
- Spectrum channels 12 and 1012
- Hawaiian Telcom channel 89
- The Spectrum TV app
- On the Mountain West app for viewers outside of Hawaii
The 2025 season kicks off with a nationally televised home opener against Stanford on KGMB.
