Dubai, All tickets for Sunday’s historic Asia Cup final between Pakistan and India at the Dubai International Stadium have sold out, tournament organizers confirmed. The 28,000-seat venue will be at full capacity for the title clash.
Earlier fixtures between the arch-rivals in Dubai drew 20,000 fans on September 14 and 17,000 on September 21. But anticipation for the final has been unprecedented, with tickets across all stands completely sold out.
It will be the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup that Pakistan and India meet in the tournament final.
Organizers also confirmed that, due to heightened tensions between the two teams, the traditional pre-final trophy photoshoot featuring both captains will not take place on Saturday, with a final decision expected on match day.
