ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan Disqualified by International Court Over Conflict of Interest

The Hague: The International Criminal Court’s (ICC) appellate judges have disqualified Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan from handling a case involving former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte due to a potential conflict of interest.

The decision follows mounting concerns regarding impartiality after Khan’s previous association with individuals connected to the case.

Meanwhile, media reports have also surfaced alleging that Karim Khan is facing accusations related to a sexual misconduct scandal, adding further controversy to his position at the world court.

Khan had recently gained international attention for seeking arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials over alleged war crimes in Gaza.
