TEL AVIV (International Desk) — Israel has warned that it will resume military operations in Gaza if Hamas fails to return the bodies of all remaining hostages, calling the issue a “matter of national obligation.”
Israeli Defense Minister stated that “if Hamas violates the agreement, Israel will have no choice but to restart the war.”
According to Israeli officials, Hamas has so far returned only nine bodies, while Israel is demanding the return of nineteen more.
The warning comes amid fragile ceasefire efforts mediated by regional and international actors, as tensions remain high following months of devastating conflict in Gaza.
