LAHORE (M.Shezad) Punjab Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bokhari, has accused the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) of sharing a common agenda of “chaos and disruption,” saying that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under PTI rule has become a hub of terrorism, corruption, and mismanagement.
Speaking to reporters, Bokhari said that the PTI founder “played the dual role of a tyrant and a Pharaoh” during his tenure, adding that “the prison walls have now mentally paralyzed him.”
She criticized the PTI leader for showing political hypocrisy, noting that “the same religious group he once called extremist and terrorist is now the one he seeks support from — a clear example of his double standards.”
Commenting on the PTI’s recent protest calls, Bokhari remarked that after his previous “final call” was rejected by the public, issuing another one is ironic. “Every Pakistani can now see that PTI and TLP’s agendas are essentially the same,” she said.
The Information Minister added that instead of restoring stability and focusing on governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the PTI government is “fueling unrest to cover up its failures.” She concluded that the PTI’s history “proves its politics has always been about creating chaos, not providing relief to the people.”
