ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has vowed to eradicate what he termed as the “India-backed militants” operating within the country, saying their “nefarious designs will not succeed.”
Naqvi made the remarks during a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, where the two discussed the province’s security situation and recent terrorist incidents.
They also reviewed ongoing counter-terrorism operations against militant factions in various districts and exchanged views on the current Pakistan-Afghanistan border situation.
Both leaders paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operations and honored the martyrs of recent attacks on the D.I. Khan police training center and NADRA office.
