The arrests were made across several divisions of the city, including Saddar, City, Cantt, Civil Lines, Model Town, and Iqbal Town.
Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that anti-smog Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are being strictly enforced. He added that the police are providing legal assistance to environmental departments to ensure compliance with pollution control laws.
Kamyana noted that surveillance cameras operated by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority are also being used to identify offenders. He directed officers to continue operations “without discrimination” against those contributing to air pollution.
