LAHORE: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, held a meeting with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office, Lahore, to hear their concerns and resolve pending issues.
During the session, Dr. Usman Anwar personally listened to various complaints and issued immediate orders for relief through the concerned officers.
According to details, on the request of Sub-Inspector Yasir Iqbal regarding his seniority issue, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to take necessary action. Similarly, the DIG Establishment II was instructed to ensure prompt payment of salary and dues to Constable Ahmad Ilyas, while the seniority matter of Sub-Inspector Waseem Latif was also referred to the Additional IG Punjab for resolution.
The IG Punjab further issued directives concerning other cases related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare, emphasizing that timely redressal of police employees’ issues remains a top priority of the Punjab Police.
