Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held separate meetings with British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker in Islamabad on Sunday to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and areas of mutual interest.
During the meetings, both sides exchanged views on enhancing security cooperation, counterterrorism efforts, immigration, and information sharing. They also reviewed ongoing collaboration in law enforcement capacity building and discussed regional peace and stability.
Minister Naqvi emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with both the United Kingdom and the United States, highlighting the government’s efforts to ensure internal security and promote regional harmony.
The British High Commissioner and the U.S. envoy appreciated Pakistan’s role in maintaining regional stability and expressed their governments’ willingness to expand cooperation in security, trade, and people-to-people exchanges.
