LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has established a computer lab equipped with 10 modern computers at Government Boys High School, Awan Town, marking a significant step towards promoting digital education. The facility was formally inaugurated by Chief Development Barrister Malik Umair Saif Khokhar.
The initiative was warmly welcomed by students, who expressed joy over the availability of a modern computer lab, while the school administration thanked Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar for his contribution and hoped for similar projects in the future.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Barrister Umair Saif Khokhar emphasized the government’s commitment to removing barriers to education for children studying in public schools. He highlighted that the vision of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is to ensure no child is deprived of education, regardless of circumstances.
He further stated that under the education-friendly leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, efforts are being made to make quality education accessible and compulsory across the province, and more such initiatives will continue in the coming days.
Coordinator Education Saqlain Yousaf, PS to Minister Rana Sohail Mustafa Joya, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
