LAHORE: Three officers of the Punjab Police have achieved remarkable distinction in Pakistan’s Provincial Management Service (PMS) examination, earning high positions and bringing pride to the police force. Inspector General Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met the successful officers at the Central Police Office in Lahore to commend their accomplishment.
The officers who excelled in the competitive exam include Inspector Legal Javed Iqbal, Lady Assistant Bisma Abdul Sattar, and Sub-Inspector Sadaqat Ali Chadhar.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the officers and their families, praising their dedication, discipline, and professional competence. He highlighted that their success reflects the growing talent within the Punjab Police and sets a positive example for the institution.
He urged the officers to approach their PMS training with full commitment and to embrace innovative thinking and public service as a core mission. Dr. Anwar noted that their policing experience will prove valuable in addressing public grievances more effectively in civil administration roles.
“Use your authority and abilities for the service and development of the nation,” he emphasized, adding that their association with the Punjab Police will always remain a matter of prestige.
According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Sadaqat Ali Chadhar secured 18th position, Javed Iqbal 40th, and Bisma Abdul Sattar 42nd in the PMS exam. Following their success, all three officers have joined the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD).
Javed Iqbal hails from Khushab, Bisma Abdul Sattar from Sheikhupura, and Sadaqat Ali Chadhar from Chiniot.
Their achievement has been widely appreciated as an encouraging example of police officers excelling beyond the uniform and contributing to Pakistan’s administrative leadership.
