Massive Workers’ Convention at Khokhar Palace Signals Strong Momentum for PML-N in NA-129 By-Election

A large and historic workers’ convention for the NA-129 by-election was held at Khokhar Palace, led by Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar and President PML-N Lahore & Member National Assembly Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar. The gathering brought together MPA Malik Shahbaz Ali Khokhar, local chairmen, vice-chairmen, councillors, coordinators from UC-105 and UC-106, and hundreds of party workers.

Participants declared full support for Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman, the PML-N candidate for NA-129, and vowed to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming by-election. Workers and residents reaffirmed their long-standing loyalty to the PML-N and the Khokhar family.

Speaking to the convention, Provincial Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s leadership has resulted in record development projects worth billions of rupees across the constituency. He noted that visible progress—from clean drinking water schemes and expanded road networks to upgraded sewerage systems—reflects the party’s commitment to public service. “Our politics is based on performance, and we will seek votes on that basis,” he said.

PML-N Lahore President Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokhar described NA-129 as the home of the Khokhar family and thanked residents for their unwavering trust. He said the unity displayed at the convention demonstrates that the by-election is firmly tilting in favour of the PML-N. Praising the party’s candidate, he said: “Hafiz Mian Muhammad Nauman is dedicated, capable, and deeply connected to the community. Together, we will transform NA-129 into a model constituency of Lahore.”

The convention concluded with workers and participants renewing their full support for the PML-N’s campaign and pledging to work tirelessly for the party’s victory.
