Pakistan’s Federal Harassment Ombudsperson Visits ZTBL, Stresses Safe Workplaces

ISLAMABAD, Nov 26: Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) Fauzia Viqar visited the Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) head office on Wednesday, where she was received by the bank’s President and CEO, Tahir Yaqub Bhatti.

During the visit, ZTBL and FOSPAH jointly held an awareness seminar on the Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act 2010, attended by senior management and staff nationwide through in-person and virtual participation.

In her remarks, Viqar underscored the need for safe, respectful, and inclusive work environments, saying such conditions strengthen employee confidence and organizational performance.
The ZTBL CEO reiterated the bank’s zero-tolerance policy on harassment and its commitment to workplace dignity.

FOSPAH Assistant Registrar Waqar Ahmed briefed participants on the legal framework, complaint procedures, and institutional responsibilities, followed by a Q&A session with employees.
The event concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between FOSPAH and ZTBL.
