Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed to reduce the tax rate for the salaried class, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Rashid Mahmood Langrial announced.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Pakistan Business Council in Islamabad, Langrial said the Prime Minister has directed the FBR to begin formal preparations to provide tax relief to the salaried class in the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.
He added that the Prime Minister has also instructed a reduction in the super tax imposed on large corporations, and consultations at the government level have already begun to implement this directive.
