Islamabad: A teenage girl was killed while another sustained injuries after a speeding car crashed into their electric scooter on Iran Avenue in the federal capital.
According to police and rescue officials, the accident occurred when a fast-moving vehicle hit an e-scooter carrying two girls, identified as Amna and Fatima. The collision was so severe that Amna suffered critical injuries and died while being shifted to the hospital.
Rescue authorities confirmed that Fatima also received multiple injuries but her condition is reported to be out of danger.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are conducting efforts to trace the vehicle involved in the crash.
