Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman on Saturday attended the Beaconhouse Alumni Awards 2025 ceremony as Guest of Honour, where he presented awards to graduates recognized for outstanding achievements in diverse professional fields.
The event drew a large gathering of alumni, students, teachers and distinguished guests.
Speaking at the ceremony, the minister said Beaconhouse graduates represent “the true pride of Pakistan,” noting that they are excelling not only in their respective professions but also contributing meaningfully to society through public service, innovation and social initiatives. He added that the accomplishments of such youth demonstrate how a strong education system directly shapes a brighter national future.
Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman highlighted the Punjab Government’s ongoing efforts to modernize the education sector under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing reforms aimed at creating a forward-looking academic environment. He expressed confidence that continued collaboration between teachers, parents and educational institutions would open new avenues of opportunity for young professionals.
