LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, held a meeting with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office Lahore to listen to their concerns and issue immediate relief orders.
During the meeting, several requests were addressed on the spot:
Inspector Muhammad Ashraf Khan: Deputation extension granted; DIG Establishment-I directed to provide relief.
Retired Inspector Tanveer Zaman’s daughters: Recruitment request approved; DIG Establishment-I instructed to act.
Inspector Umar Al-Qadri: Transfer request approved; Assistant Director Establishment-I to provide relief.
Inspector Farooq Azam: Promotion request approved; Additional IG Punjab directed to implement.
ASI Liaqat Ali: Plea hearing request granted; AIG Discipline instructed to take action.
Head Constable Ghulam Dastgir: Request to declare him a Ghazi approved; DIG Welfare & Finance directed to provide relief.
Constable Muhammad Latif: Medical treatment for hearing-impaired son approved; Additional IG Welfare & Finance directed to act.
In addition to these cases, Dr. Anwar issued instructions on other matters related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare, emphasizing swift action to address the needs of police personnel and their families.
