LAHORE: LAAM Fashion Week (LFW), Pakistan’s first runway-to-e-tail fashion platform, hosted its inaugural leadership event at its Lahore headquarters, bringing together designers, brands, industry leaders, media, and business stakeholders for an afternoon focused on the future of fashion, technology, and commerce.
The event served as the first formal introduction to the LFW ecosystem, showcasing the platform’s mission to redefine Pakistan’s fashion landscape by combining creative excellence, global consumer reach, and a digital-first retail model that makes Pakistani fashion instantly accessible worldwide.
A dynamic panel discussion featured LAAM and LFW co-founders Amir Iqbal and Arif Iqbal, Design651 CEO and LFW Co-Founder Saad Ali, along with LFW Creative Leadership HSY and Maheen Kardar, Director of Designer Experience. The session was moderated by Selina Rashid, CEO of Lotus PR Global. The discussion highlighted the platform’s three core pillars:
Curation
LFW will unite Pakistan’s strongest fashion expressions—from luxury houses and couture ateliers to high-street brands, textile giants, and emerging designers—offering a diverse and thoughtfully curated showcase of the industry under one platform.
Reach
Backed by LAAM’s footprint across 120+ countries and access to more than 500 million fashion and lifestyle consumers, with over 6 million active fashion buyers, LFW is positioned as Pakistan’s first globally built fashion platform designed for worldwide discovery, engagement, and commercial accessibility.
Commerce
With its innovative runway-to-e-tail model, every look presented at LFW will be photographed, catalogued, priced, and made instantly shoppable online—transforming runway visibility into measurable, long-term commercial value.
Panelists emphasized how LFW’s digitally powered, data-driven ecosystem can unlock a new era for Pakistani fashion, enabling local creativity to scale beyond borders.
Co-Founder & COO Amir Iqbal said:
> “Millions of customers discover and buy South Asian fashion from LAAM each month across 120+ countries. With LFW, we are connecting that global demand directly to the runway, where creativity meets consumers, and the business of fashion grows beyond the show.”
Co-Founder & CEO Arif Iqbal added:
> “Technology is the backbone of LFW—from AI-driven personalization to data-backed logistics and our real-time runway-to-e-tail model. We aim to make every designer discoverable, every look shoppable, and every collection deliverable anywhere in the world.”
LFW Co-Founder Saad Ali stated:
> “Over two decades, Pakistan’s fashion platforms have evolved through highs and reinventions. LFW represents the next chapter—a model that respects the craft, honors the past, and builds for the future.”
