LAHORE – Punjab’s Provincial Minister for Communication and Works, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath, conducted a late-night emergency inspection to assess the progress of major development projects initiated by the Chief Minister.
During the visit, the minister reviewed the pace and quality of work at the Quaid-e-Azam Interchange, the Lahore Ring Road beautification project, and ongoing construction on the Muridke–Narowal Road.
Highlighting the Chief Minister’s emphasis on swift and high-quality execution, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath said that road rehabilitation projects must prioritize public convenience. He noted that work on the 13-kilometer dual carriageway from the Quaid-e-Azam Interchange to Wagah is progressing rapidly. The minister also evaluated the construction of the cultural wall along the highway and the Ring Road’s lighting and landscaping arrangements.
Expressing concern over delays on the Ring Road project, he instructed officials to accelerate work immediately.
Additionally, the minister reviewed the Kartarpur Corridor project and the Muridke–Narowal Road construction, inspecting workmanship and quality standards. He affirmed that C&W teams are committed to working day and night to deliver long-term, quality infrastructure that benefits the public.
