LAHORE: Provincial Minister Punjab Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar on Friday formally inaugurated several ongoing public welfare and development projects in Union Council 109, Khayaban-e-Quaid, and adjoining localities, reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to improving basic civic infrastructure.
The projects include the construction and rehabilitation of roads, upgrades to sewerage systems, and the provision of other essential municipal facilities aimed at resolving long-standing issues faced by local residents and enhancing overall living standards in the area.
The Provincial Minister was warmly received by the President, General Secretary, and members of the Khayaban-e-Quaid Society, along with a large number of residents who expressed satisfaction over the initiation of development works. Local representatives and notable community members were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is synonymous with development, transparency, and public service. He stated that the Punjab Government is taking concrete measures to ensure the timely provision of basic amenities to citizens, with development schemes being implemented on a fast-track basis to deliver early relief to the public.
He further said that the development of UC-109, Khayaban-e-Quaid, and surrounding areas remains a top priority of the provincial government. The ongoing initiatives, he added, would not only improve the overall appearance of the locality but also significantly enhance the quality of municipal services.
The Provincial Minister assured residents that public consultation would continue throughout the development process and that the government’s journey of progress would move forward with the same dedication and resolve.
