Lahore, December 14: The Postgraduate Medical Institute (PGMI) has announced that it will host PGMI M-Con 2025, a two-day medical conference designed to promote excellence in medical education and research. The conference is scheduled to begin on December 17, 2025, under the theme: “Pursuit of Excellence: Strengthening Research & Medical Education for the Next Generation.”
According to Principal of Ameer-ud-Din Medical College (AMC), Prof. Dr. Farooq Afzal, the conference will bring together leading medical experts, senior faculty members, researchers, scholars, young doctors, and medical students. He said the event will feature multiple scientific sessions focusing on contemporary medical research, emerging trends in medical education, advancements in patient care, and innovations in medical technology.
Prof. Farooq Afzal highlighted that the conference will serve as a key academic platform for participants to exchange ideas, share experiences, and gain insights into modern research trends. “The event aims to practically strengthen the research culture and improve standards within the medical sector,” he said.
He emphasized PGMI’s ongoing commitment to research-based medical education, noting that such conferences play a vital role in professional development and in raising standards of healthcare education.
