Mian Manzoor Wattoo served as Chief Minister of Punjab in 1993. He was regarded as a seasoned and influential politician, known for his long and diverse political career spanning several decades.
He began his political journey with the Pakistan Muslim League (PML), remaining affiliated with the party from 1985 to 1993. From 1993 to 1995, he was part of the Pakistan Muslim League (Junejo). He later joined the Pakistan Muslim League (Jinnah), where he remained from 1995 to 2002.
Between 2002 and 2008, Mian Manzoor Wattoo was associated with the Pakistan Muslim League (Q). He then joined the Pakistan Peoples Party, serving the party from 2008 to 2018. From 2018 to 2020, he was part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). After 2020, he rejoined the Pakistan Peoples Party.
