Islamabad: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has rejected the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) request to immediately remove the 18% GST on contraceptive products.
According to sources, the IMF stated that such matters can only be considered in the upcoming budget. Previously, the Prime Minister had instructed that population control products should be made affordable and widely accessible across the country.
