A major welfare event was held in Pakistan’s capital on Wednesday, bringing attention to ongoing efforts aimed at social development and humanitarian assistance. The Mega Welfare Event, organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, highlighted initiatives focused on poverty alleviation, education, healthcare, and emergency relief.

The event was attended by Professor Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, who served as the chief guest. The program opened with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by a religious hymn, before organizers outlined the foundation’s objectives and humanitarian mission.

A documentary showcasing Alkhidmat Foundation’s work across Pakistan was screened during the event. The film highlighted projects related to education, healthcare services, orphan support, assistance for widows, and disaster relief operations carried out during natural emergencies.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in addressing social challenges. He stated that welfare organizations play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable communities and called on young people to actively participate in volunteer work to promote long-term social development.
The ceremony also recognized individuals who made notable contributions to welfare activities, with honorary shields presented in appreciation of their services. Organizers reaffirmed their commitment to expanding humanitarian programs to reach a larger number of underprivileged communities in the future.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks and closing prayers.
