Rawalpindi: Major General Yousef Ahmed A. Al Huneiti, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Tuesday called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Staff (CDF), at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, evolving regional security dynamics, and explored avenues for further enhancing bilateral defence and military cooperation.
The Jordanian military chief appreciated the high standards of professionalism demonstrated by the Pakistan Armed Forces and commended their significant contributions towards regional peace and stability.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to deepening defence ties with Jordan and underscored the importance of joint and collaborative efforts to effectively address emerging and complex security challenges.
The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to further strengthen military-to-military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
