Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have reaffirmed their determination to continue working closely to further strengthen bilateral relations and advance shared goals of peace, stability, and sustainable development.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed paid an official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, marking his first visit to the country in his capacity as President of the UAE. Upon arrival, he was accorded a warm and cordial welcome, with JF-17 fighter jets escorting the royal aircraft as it entered Pakistani airspace. He was received at Nur Khan Airbase by the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with senior cabinet members and government officials.



During the visit, the two leaders held substantive talks focusing on further strengthening the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE. They reviewed progress in ongoing areas of cooperation and explored new avenues to deepen engagement across multiple sectors.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding collaboration in economic cooperation, investment, energy, infrastructure development, information technology, technology transfer, and people-to-people exchanges. They also agreed on enhancing bilateral trade, noting its significant potential for mutually beneficial growth.
The leaders exchanged views on key regional and international developments and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination on issues of mutual interest.
Expressing satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations, the two leaders reiterated their resolve to continue working together to further consolidate the deep-rooted brotherly ties and strengthen the strategic partnership between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
