ISLAMABAD, Pakistan.Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman held a high-level telephonic conversation on Wednesday to discuss the regional situation and bilateral cooperation. During the call, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the critical need for unity and harmony within the Muslim Ummah to address current global challenges. Expressing complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister noted that maintaining peace and security through regional dialogue and diplomacy is essential for the stability of the area.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman thanked the Prime Minister for the call and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Pakistan across all sectors of mutual interest. Notably, the Crown Prince expressed his intention to undertake an official visit to Pakistan next year. Both leaders noted with satisfaction that fraternal ties between the two nations have reached new heights in recent months.
