Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Azma Bokhari has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of the father of The News reporter Faizan Bangash and the mother of Express News reporter Khalid Rasheed.
In her condolence message, Azma Bokhari said parents remain a guiding light for their children even in the darkest of times, and the loss of their protective presence is an irreplaceable one. She described the demise of Faizan Bangash’s father and Khalid Rasheed’s mother as a profound tragedy and an irreparable loss for the bereaved families.
The provincial information minister said she stands shoulder to shoulder with Faizan Bangash, Khalid Rasheed and their families in this moment of grief. She prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed souls a high place in His eternal mercy and bless the bereaved families with patience and strength to bear the loss.
Azma Bokhari further said that the journalistic community holds a place of great respect for the Punjab government, adding that the pain and sorrow of journalists are considered shared grief.
