66 Lahore Police Constables Promoted to Head Constable Rank

LAHORE: As many as 66 constables of the Lahore Police have been promoted to the rank of head constable following the approval of the Departmental Promotion Board.
The promotions were approved during a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Board, chaired by DIG (Administration) Imran Kishore. SSP (Discipline) Atif Nazir and SP (Headquarters) Munazza Karamat were also members of the board.
Of the total promotions, 61 officials were elevated under Category C-I, while five were promoted under Category C-II. The promoted personnel are currently serving in operations, investigation, the security division, and other units of the Lahore Police.
Among those promoted in Category C-I were Dil Nawaz Amin, Shehzad Ali, Asghar Ali, Hassan Atta, Muhammad Khawar, Khalid Parvez, Muhammad Mubashir, and Khalid Mohsin. In Category C-II, Ahmed Khan, Muhammad Ilyas, Liaquat, and Ahmed Hassan were among the officers promoted.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana congratulated the promoted officials and extended his best wishes. He urged them to carry out their duties with renewed dedication, commitment, and professionalism, and to meet the responsibilities of their new rank with a strong sense of accountability.
The CCPO said the promoted personnel would play an effective role in ensuring the timely delivery of justice to citizens. He added that the Lahore Police would continue to encourage officers and personnel who demonstrate outstanding performance at all levels.
The promoted officials expressed gratitude to the department and pledged to further enhance their professional performance in the line of duty.
