ISLAMABAD: The National Dialogue Committee conference has called for the release of political workers and the withdrawal of cases against them to facilitate meaningful negotiations between the government and opposition.
According to the conference communiqué, a government-appointed committee should be formed by the Prime Minister, the President, and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while the opposition committee should be granted full access to political prisoners.
The statement emphasized that these measures are essential to ensure an environment conducive to dialogue and to strengthen democratic processes in the country.
