Islamabad: Pakistan has clarified that no decision has been taken regarding joining any international stabilization force and that the country will not become part of the Abraham Accords.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that linking the Board of Peace with the Abraham Accords is a misunderstanding. The spokesperson added that several other Muslim countries are also members of the board, stressing that it has no connection with the Abraham Accords.
The spokesperson further stated that Pakistan’s foreign policy is principle-based and that any participation in international arrangements depends on national interests and due consultation.
