UVAS Observes Kashmir Solidarity Day with Walks Across Campuses

Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore organized a solidarity walk on Friday to express support for the people of occupied Kashmir.
The walk at the City Campus was led by Senior Tutor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yasin Tipu, and attended by Chairman of the Parasitology Department Prof. Dr. Kamran Ashraf, Principal Officer City Campus Prof. Dr. Mati Ur Rehman Khan Niazi, Registrar Sajjad Hyder, Dr. Muhammad Sarwar Siddique, as well as numerous students, faculty members, and administrative staff from various departments.
Participants waved Kashmiri flags and chanted slogans such as “We stand with Kashmiri people” and “Kashmir will become Pakistan soon.” The walk started from the VC office and concluded at the UVAS Main Lawn after completing a round of the City Campus. The event aimed to highlight the suffering of Kashmiri people and demonstrate solidarity with the Kashmir movement.
Similar activities were held at UVAS campuses across Punjab, including Ravi Campus Pattoki, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences Jhang, Khan Bahadur Chaudhary Mushtaq Ahmad Para-Veterinary College Narowal (KBCMA-CVAS), and Para-Veterinary Institute Karor Lal Eason Layyah Campus.
