LAHORE: A three-day training session for 27 newly recruited Assistant Directors of Punjab Social Security (PSS) commenced on February 2 and will continue until February 4, 2026, at the auditorium of Nawaz Sharif Social Security Teaching Hospital, Multan Road, Lahore.
On the opening day, Commissioner Punjab Social Security, Zulfiqar Ali Kharl, visited the venue and reviewed the training arrangements. The session focuses on modern procedures for the collection of Social Security and Workers’ Welfare Funds, along with detailed briefings on the applicable rules, regulations, and legal frameworks governing Punjab Social Security.
The participants are being trained to ensure effective, lawful, and professional performance of their duties in the field.
Addressing the officers, Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharl said the training would enable them to discharge their responsibilities efficiently while enhancing professional standards within Social Security operations. He added that the program is designed to improve field performance and ensure full compliance with legal and administrative requirements.
