US Congressmen Condemn Islamabad Attack, Express Shock

Washington/Islamabad, February 7, 2026 – US Congressman and Co-Chair of Pakistan Caucus Tom Suozzi has expressed deep shock over the suicide attack at an Islamabad mosque.
In his statement, Suozzi said during his Pakistan visit he was told that after Burkina Faso, Pakistan experiences the most terrorist attacks in the world.
Call for Religious Harmony
The US Congressman said we must all unite to eliminate all forms of terrorism and reject those who try to divide people.
Suozzi emphasized everyone should unite for religious harmony.
Gregory Meeks’ Condemnation
Another US Congressman Gregory Meeks called the attack on Masjid Khadija-tul-Kubra horrific, stating Pakistanis should have the right to worship safely and freely.
