According to the official data released by the department:
716 victims with serious injuries were shifted to various hospitals for specialized treatment.
820 victims with minor injuries were treated on-site by Rescue Medical Teams, significantly reducing the load on hospitals.
Key Observations from the Report:
75% of the crashes involved motorbikes, underscoring the urgent need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws, lane discipline, helmet usage, and rider training.
Among the victims were 865 drivers, 55 underage drivers, 191 pedestrians, and 493 passengers.
Gender breakdown: 1,259 males and 290 females (total 1,549 affected individuals).

787 victims aged 18–40 years
447 victims above 40 years
District-wise highest incidents:
Lahore: 273 RTCs (310 persons affected) — highest in the province
Multan: 87 RTCs (90 victims)

Authorities have repeatedly stressed the importance of public awareness campaigns, better road infrastructure, and rigorous enforcement of traffic rules — particularly helmet laws, speed limits, and restrictions on underage driving — to curb the rising toll of road accidents.
