LAHORE: Senior executives and officers of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) organised a splendid and memorable farewell reception to honour Akbar Ali Khan Sial, Assistant Vice President and Manager of the NBP Urdu Bazar Branch, in recognition of his outstanding and dedicated services to the institution.
The event, held at a prominent local hotel (Ziafat Restaurant, Gulberg-II), was attended by a large number of senior bankers, officials, and members of the wider NBP community. The ceremony concluded in a dignified and warm atmosphere, reflecting the deep respect and affection Mr. Sial commands among his colleagues.
Speakers paid glowing tributes to Akbar Ali Khan Sial, describing him as a highly dedicated, honest, and thoroughly professional banker who served the National Bank of Pakistan with unwavering commitment and integrity throughout his career.
During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in enhancing branch performance, strengthening customer relationships, and guiding and mentoring junior staff. His calm leadership style and strong administrative capabilities were widely praised by all present.
A highlight of the evening was the address by Javed Khan, President of the NBP Progressive Association. He commended Mr. Sial’s long and exemplary service, stating that he had set a high benchmark for professionalism, teamwork, and ethical conduct. “Akbar Ali Khan Sial’s contributions will be remembered for many years to come,” Javed Khan remarked.
