Visits FC Headquarters in Quetta, Praises People’s Patriotism and Forces’ Resolve
Quetta, February 10, 2026 – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited Balochistan today and attended a ceremony at the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters in Quetta.
During the event, she announced that the Government of Punjab will provide Rs10 billion in financial assistance for the welfare, facilities, and operational support of security forces deployed in Balochistan.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said:
“The passion and deep attachment of the people of Balochistan to Pakistan is truly commendable. Our security forces here are protecting the country day and night without regard for their own lives. We salute their bravery and sacrifices. The Punjab government is allocating Rs10 billion to support them so that they can be provided with better facilities and resources.”
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that Balochistan is an integral part of Pakistan and that Punjab stands in full solidarity with the people and security personnel of the province. She expressed hope that this financial support would boost morale and help improve the working conditions of the forces.
