Four students have been expelled from Bacha Khan University in Charsadda over allegations of anti-state sloganeering and inciting unrest, according to an official statement issued by the university administration.
The statement said the university’s disciplinary committee took action against the four students for violating institutional rules and regulations and for allegedly undermining national unity.
It further stated that the students sang a foreign national anthem in a manner deemed provocative and intended to fuel unrest on campus.
The administration also alleged that the students raised slogans against the state within the university premises, prompting disciplinary proceedings that resulted in their expulsion.
