DOHA — Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Qatar on Monday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.
Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha, the Prime Minister was received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Al Khulaifi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Muhammad Amir, and members of the diplomatic mission.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi are accompanying the Prime Minister on this high-profile visit.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold bilateral talks with the Amir of Qatar, focusing on economic cooperation, energy partnerships, and the strengthening of people-to-people ties. The two sides are also expected to explore avenues for deeper collaboration in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and the export of Pakistani manpower to Qatar.
The visit reflects the deep fraternal bonds between Pakistan and Qatar and underscores both nations’ shared commitment to elevating their multi-dimensional bilateral relationship to new heights.
