ISLAMABAD — Aleema Khan, sister of incarcerated PTI founder Imran Khan, has issued a strong warning, declaring that if the courts do not provide relief, she will take the matter directly to the public and mobilise mass support to press her demands.
Speaking to media, Aleema Khan described Imran Khan as a true leader of the people — not merely a political figure — and argued that his deteriorating health condition was not a family matter alone but a national concern that deserved public attention and outrage.
She urged supporters and ordinary citizens alike to come out of their homes and raise their voices over the PTI founder’s health situation, hinting at the possibility of a public mobilisation campaign if legal avenues continued to yield no results.
In a separate but equally forceful statement, Imran Khan’s other sister Uzma Khan demanded that his latest medical report be made public without further delay, stating that the continued secrecy surrounding his health condition was unacceptable and fuelling widespread concern among his supporters.
The statements from both sisters have reignited debate over the conditions of Imran Khan’s detention and the transparency of information regarding his well-being. PTI supporters have rallied behind the family’s demands, calling on the government to ensure accountability and openness in the matter.
The developments come amid an already charged political climate as PTI continues to mount legal and political pressure for the PTI founder’s release.
