Quetta/Zhob — Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced that security forces successfully conducted two separate intelligence-based operations in district Zhob, Balochistan, killing 18 Indian-sponsored Khawarij militants.
According to the military’s media wing, during the operations, security forces effectively traced and tracked the movement of the militants across multiple routes before closing in and neutralizing them. Both operations were described as highly successful from an operational standpoint, resulting in no casualties among the security personnel.
ISPR stated that the killed militants were actively involved in terrorist activities in the region and were operating under Indian patronage with the aim of destabilizing peace and security in Balochistan. A cache of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the site of the operations.
The military spokesperson reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to eliminate all terrorist elements from every corner of the country, stressing that intelligence-based operations will continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from Pakistani soil.
The operations in Zhob are part of the ongoing security campaign in Balochistan, where Pakistani forces have intensified efforts to dismantle militant networks that Islamabad accuses of being backed by hostile foreign powers. Pakistan has repeatedly accused India of sponsoring and financing insurgent groups operating in the province, a charge New Delhi has consistently denied.
