LAHORE: Chief Administrator Auqaf Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta has said that the life and character of Hazrat Khadijat-ul-Kubra (RA) serve as a guiding light for women, while the Ummahat-ul-Momineen (RA) devoted their entire lives to the protection, promotion, and propagation of Islam.
He expressed these views while presiding over the “Ummahat-ul-Momineen and Syeda Khatun-e-Jannat (RA) Conference” organized by the Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department at Aiwan-e-Auqaf.
Dr. Bhutta said that the noble lives of the Ummahat-ul-Momineen (RA) and Ahl-e-Bait-e-At’har (RA) present a complete model for the Muslim Ummah. He emphasized that by adopting their teachings, society can strengthen values such as morality, tolerance, patience, and service to humanity.
Addressing the conference, Director General Religious Affairs Punjab Shahid Hassan Kalyani said that Hazrat Khadijat-ul-Kubra (RA) played a vital role in strengthening Islam through her unwavering support, sacrifice, and resources, standing firmly beside the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the early days of Islam. He added that Islam granted fundamental rights to women and honored them with dignity and respect in society.
Other speakers highlighted that the lives and teachings of the Ummahat-ul-Momineen (RA) and Syeda Fatima Zahra (RA) serve as a great source of guidance for the Muslim Ummah. They stressed that if the Muslim Ummah wishes to move forward with honor and dignity among the nations of the world, it must follow the footsteps of the Ahl-e-Bait-e-At’har (RA).
Participants of the conference also paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in recent incidents of terrorism and expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces.
At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Bhutta offered a special prayer for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the country, the protection of Pakistan’s ideological and geographical boundaries, and for relief and justice for the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine.
