LAHORE: In a significant development for Pakistan’s rapidly expanding solar energy sector, Huawei Pakistan has announced AESOLAR as its official Value-Added Partner (VAP) for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar solutions. The announcement was made during Power Alliance 2026, an executive-level industry forum attended by EPC leaders, commercial stakeholders, and key decision-makers from the country’s energy sector.
The strategic partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of advanced solar technologies across Pakistan’s commercial and industrial markets. Through this collaboration, AESOLAR will serve as a key commercial channel partner, supporting Huawei’s efforts to expand its smart solar ecosystem and strengthen the adoption of intelligent energy solutions nationwide.
Under the partnership, both companies will focus on integrating advanced inverter technologies, developing smart energy management systems, and expanding commercial rooftop and industrial-scale solar installations. The collaboration will also provide technical enablement and operational support to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) ecosystem, helping businesses transition toward more reliable and sustainable energy sources.
Speaking at the event, Kevin, Managing Director of Huawei Pakistan, emphasized the importance of strategic alliances in driving innovation and clean energy transformation. He noted that partnerships like this are essential for strengthening the renewable energy infrastructure and enabling long-term sustainability in Pakistan’s commercial sector.
Commenting on the collaboration, Rana Abbas, Chief Executive Officer of AESOLAR, described the partnership as a forward-looking model for sustainable commercial growth. He said the alliance would help accelerate the adoption of intelligent solar solutions while supporting industries seeking efficient and future-ready energy systems.
With Pakistan’s commercial and industrial solar segment witnessing rapid growth due to rising electricity costs and increasing demand for sustainable power, the Huawei–AESOLAR alliance is expected to set new benchmarks in efficiency, scalability, and technological leadership.
Industry observers believe the partnership will play a crucial role in enabling businesses and industrial operators to adopt smart solar infrastructure while strengthening Pakistan’s transition toward cleaner and more resilient energy systems.
