Dhaka, March 13, 2026 (Special Correspondent): Pakistan levelled their three-match ODI series against Bangladesh at 1-1 after recording a dominant 128-run victory — via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method — at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Invited to bat first, Pakistan posted 274 runs in 47.3 overs in what proved a formidable total. Muaz Sadaqat was the standout performer with a blistering 75 off just 46 balls. Salman Ali Agha contributed 64, Mohammad Rizwan added 44, and Sahibzada Farhan chipped in with 31. For Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets.
Bangladesh’s chase was disrupted by rain, which arrived in the 7th over. Upon resumption, the target was revised to 243 runs in 32 overs under DLS. However, the home side collapsed to just 114 all out, falling short by 128 runs. Litton Das top-scored with 41, while Towhid Hridoy made 28.
Muaz Sadaqat and Haris Rauf each claimed 3 wickets for Pakistan, with captain Shaheen Shah Afridi picking up 2.
The series will be decided in the third and final ODI, to be played at the same venue in the coming days.
