LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Communications & Works, Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath, chaired a key meeting to review the ongoing beautification work on Ring Road. The meeting was attended by Secretary C&W Sohail Ashraf, Chairman Ring Road Authority, representatives of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), and the Chief Engineer.
During the briefing, officials informed the minister that beautification work on SL-1, SL-2, and SL-3 sections of Ring Road is progressing rapidly, while repair and maintenance activities are also underway. Faulty lights on the SL-3 section will be repaired immediately as part of the ongoing improvements.
Minister Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bharath directed the FWO to carry out asphalt work, beautify the toll plazas, and ensure the prompt repair of faulty lights.
He stated that the beautification and improvement work is being carried out under the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and emphasized that all steps are being taken to complete the project at the earliest.
