PM Shehbaz Sharif Holds Key Meeting with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Amid Gulf Tensions

Islamabad:  – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and his delegation at the Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday.
The two leaders discussed Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives for global peace in light of the escalating situation in the Gulf region and the ongoing Iran-US tensions. Prime Minister Shehbaz briefed Bilawal Bhutto on the steps taken by Pakistan on the diplomatic front.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated the federal government’s policy and lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s strategic approach in handling potential challenges arising from the regional conflict. He specifically praised the government’s preparedness to deal with any possible fallout from the war-like situation.
The meeting also covered matters of mutual political interest and reviewed the progress of federal-funded development projects in Sindh province.
The high-level meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, Prime Minister’s Adviser Rana Sanaullah, Senator Saleem Mandviwala, and other senior leaders.
This engagement highlights the coalition government’s focus on national unity, coordinated diplomacy, and development amid regional uncertainties.
