According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs468,262, while the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs9,430 to Rs401,059.
On the international front, gold prices also retreated, with the global rate falling by $110 to $4,455 per ounce.
The decline in domestic gold prices mirrors the downward trend in international markets, analysts noted, as investors reassess positions amid shifting global economic conditions.
